In April, Oppo launched its mid-range smartphone – the Oppo A52 model. It is known, however, that the company is already working on its successor – Oppo A53. This is an interesting phone with a 90 Hz refresh screen and a large battery i.e 5000mAh.

Leaks about Oppo A53 have been circulating for several days, they came from various sources, but so far these were general references. Now one of the credible sources of this type of pre-release information – Mysmartprice – reveals the key elements of the specification of the new Oppo smartphone.

Interestingly, the manufacturer already has the Oppo A53 model in its portfolio (Snapdragon 616, 5.5-inch screen, Android 5.1), which entered the market already … five years ago. The manufacturer, however, pretends that it was not there and sticks to the system of marking its phones adopted in later years.

Oppo A53 – Specifications

According to Mysmartprice data, the new Oppo A53 will receive an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.53 inches, so similar to the size of the A52 predecessor. Interestingly, the display is supposed to refresh with a frequency of 90 Hz, which is not obvious in mid-range or even lower-shelf models.

The heart of the new model is to be the Snapdragon 460  system, which may be a bit surprising – Oppo A52 is powered by a higher-line system – Snapdragon 665. In leaks about A53, there were reports that the smartphone will be equipped with Snapdragon 662.

Despite the lower class, Snapdragon 460 should provide decent performance though. It is this year’s 11 nm model, equipped with 8 Kryo 240 cores clocked up to 1.8 GHz and Adreno 610 GPU. Compared to the older 4xx Snapdragons, it provides a significant leap in performance.

The work of the processor is to be supported by 4 GB of RAM, a 6 GB version will also be created. The user will receive 64 GB or 128 GB for the data.

Oppo A53 will be equipped with a triple camera with the main matrix of 13 Mp and two 2 Mp cameras – macro and depth sensor. The front camera, placed in a circular cut, will have 16 megapixels.

The advantage of the Oppo A53 will probably be the battery – it will be a 5000mAh battery with VOOC 18 W fast charging.
